Google Trends is a tool that provides insights into the popularity of search queries over time. It allows users to explore what topics are trending, compare search terms, and filter data by region and time frame to gain a better understanding of public interest.

The Google Trends data connector in Formula Bot enables users to quickly analyze search trends without needing an account or signup.

Features

  • No signup required

  • Search query analysis and trend tracking

  • Geographic filtering (optional)

  • Custom time frame selection for detailed insights

Instructions

  1. Input Your Search Query

    • Simply type the search term or query you want to analyze in the input field.

  2. Filter by Geographic Region (Optional)

    • You can narrow down the results by selecting a specific geographic region (e.g., country, state, or city). This step is optional.

  3. Select a Time Frame

    • Choose the desired time frame for your search query.

  4. Generate Trend Report

    • Use the A Chat to generate charts and insights on search trends. For example:

      • "Show me the trend for 'electric cars' over the last 12 months in the US."

      • "Compare search interest for 'remote work' and 'hybrid work' in the last 30 days."

Troubleshooting

  • Ensure that the search query is entered correctly.

  • If no data appears, try widening the geographic region or time frame or inputting a different search term.
