Google Sheets is a cloud-based spreadsheet tool that allows users to create, edit, and collaborate on spreadsheets in real time. It’s widely used for data analysis, tracking, and reporting.

The Google Sheets data connector allows you to easily import your spreadsheet data into Formula Bot for analysis, visualization, and report generation.

Instructions

1. Share Google Sheets Access

   • Share view-only access to your Google Sheet by adding sheets@formulabot.com as a collaborator.

   • Click the Copy email button to copy the email address, then paste it into the sharing settings of the Google Sheet you wish to upload.

   • Once shared, confirm the action by toggling the confirmation switch in Formula Bot.

2. Upload the Sheet URL

   • Copy the URL of the Google Sheet and paste it into the appropriate field in Formula Bot.

   • Select the specific worksheet within the sheet that you want to use for analysis.

   • Click Upload data to import your data into Formula Bot.

3. Generate Reports

   • Once your data is uploaded, you can use the AI Chat interface to analyze and visualize your spreadsheet data.

Troubleshooting

• Make sure that the Google Sheet is shared with sheets@formulabot.com with view-only access.

• Ensure that the correct sheet URL is pasted and that you’ve selected the desired worksheet. If you continue to experience issues, you may need to refresh the page.
